State Grid Anhui Electric Power Company Maintenance Company, Hefei 230022, Anhui Province, China) ABSTRACT: Along with the development of information standardization of smart grid, the problem of models mismatch, and semantic or grammatical errors in the information integration become more prominent. The information flow blocking caused by the inconsistent model is becoming the bottleneck of information integration and operation. In order to solve the model semantic inconsistencies in the interoperability process, achieve semantic interoperability of metadata layer, and make the enterprise integration standardized, the validation mechanism of CIM information model based on RDF and OWL semantic is analysed. To achieve the semantic level checking of grid model, the structure and reasoning mechanism of Jena model is discussed, then a set of model checking tools is developed based on the Jena interface (RDF API) and ontology interface(ontology API). Finally, two typical ca
