The results showed that the cardiac granule had obvious inhibitory effect on the above experimental arrhythmia, and its action was similar to that of matrine preparation. It proves that the heart strengthening granule has anti arrhythmic effect. The results showed that the Lianxin granule (Ig or IP or IV, 160 mg/kg and 320 mg/kg had antiarrhythmic action on) significant arrhythmic models in rats induced by aconitine or BaCl2, and cats induced by aconitine or electrical stimulation, and guinea pigs induced by ouabin. The efficiency of Lianxin granule is similar with Xinluning containing matrine. Lianxin granule was hence proved to be antiarrhythmic.
