Citation Repetition of footnotes - if a previous footnote other than the immediately preceding one needs to be repeated, then use supra or op. cit. which is short for opera citato or opus citatum in latin and means “in the work cited”; - if a footnote appearing later in the work needs to be cited in advance, use infra. Citation Quotations - all ideas that are not originally your own, whether or not they are expressed by you through quotations or words verbatim, must be cited by giving credit to the author. Otherwise, you will be guilty of plagiarism. Citation Quotations - where a quotation consists only of a few words (as a guideline up to about 25) these may be incorporated within the main regular text. Citation Quotations - if the quotation is longer than the number of words mentioned above or consists of one or more passage(s), the quotation should be clearly distinguishable from the main regular text. This should be done by indenting the passage(s), reducing the font size of the words and reducing the line spacing.
