Sh aking table test w as p erform ed for the fram e m odel in each of the wt o stru ctural system s. E l C entro, T aft and T ian jin ground m otion s, tuned into m inor and severe inten sity o f 7 degree, h ave been input to the tab le, resp ect ively, to in- vest igate the se ism ic respon ses of the m odel. The test result show s that the acceleration and b ase shear respon ses o f the m ode l h ave been rem arkably redu ced w hen u sing the SIED structura l system.
