绿茶素及壳多糖抗肿瘤实验研究（Experimental study on antitumor activity of green tea and chitosan） Experimental study on antitumor activity of green tea and chitosan Update: 2011-01-24: Zhang Hui Hu Songhuang Li Xia should click Zizhong Han Zhihong Abstract: using the green tea extract (TP-91) extracted from Hubei green tea () from Wuhan Medical College and the chitosan extracted from silkworm pupa in Institute of life sciences, Hubei University, to study the anti-tumor effect. The tumor strain was EAC in mice. The results show that Green Tea and shell polysaccharide on tumor inhibition rates were 40.33% and 52.10%; peripheral blood lymphocyte count were 8.80 + 2.41, 8.30 + 3.18 and the control group (2.84 + 0.61) had significant difference (P 0.01); peripheral blood T lymphocyte counts were 24.20 + 4.56. 14.14 + 4.37 and the control group (4.10 + 3.35) had significant difference (P 0.01). The results showed that both green tea and chitosan had antitumor effect, and showed that these two natural substances had a good prospect in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
