A proper noun is a proprietary name, such as an individual, a group, a place, an institution, or a thing, whose first letter must be capitalized. Such as: Einstein, Beijing, Asia and so on. A common noun is the name of the person, a class of things, a matter of abstract concepts, can be divided into individual nouns (countable, such as: worker, father, book, tree, school etc.); collective nouns (countable, such as: people, family, class, team); the name of the material (uncountable, such as: iron, paper, snow, water, chalk, gold); abstract noun (uncountable, such as: life, thought, idea, strength etc.).
