A phase 2 3 diagram betw een M gO, MgO Al O and Al O at 1 873 K w as drawn through thermodynamic 2 3 2 3 calculation to in estigate the thermodynamic conditions of MgOAl O inclusion formation and 2 3 transformation. T he results show ed that the pure MgOAl O phase of spinel compound inclusion 2 3 in molten steel present amorphous structure, w here the inclusion size is about 5 m.
