工况（working condition） Regulation of natural gas pipeline condition 2003-6-27 Abstract: due to the planned and unexpected reasons, the natural gas pipeline system is often in unstable conditions, affecting the normal production, but can not meet the requirements of the process of gas flow and pressure. The principle, advantages and disadvantages of various adjustment methods of pipeline system are analyzed, and compared with the aspects of economy, operability and application conditions. Key words: gas pipeline; compressor station; operation regulation Introduction Main pipeline is a closed and unified hydrodynamic system composed of compressor station and station pipe line. The outlet pressure of the compressor station is the starting pressure of the pipeline between the stations, and the terminal pressure of the pipeline between the stations is the inlet pressure of the next compressor station. When the hydraulic condition of the pipeline is stable, the energy supplied by the compressor station is equal to the pressure drop required by the whole line. But in actual production, there are many factors, including unplanned and unexpected causes, which can destroy the balance: (1) the change of gas source or users demand leads to the change of the quantity of transportation; (2) the performance change of the compressor station caused by various possible causes in the compressor station; (3) after the pipeline running for a period of time, the pipeline characteristics change due to corrosion, pigging and other reasons; (4) the change of system performance caused by the change of environment. These changes make the system often in unstable conditions, a unified closed hydraulic system of air compressor station and pipeline as, although it can automatically create a new balance, but under the new condition, the pressure drop of gas compressor station provided with the actual consumption of energy across the board are often no longer match, which will affect the normal pro
