Using a time use survey data, the time use patterns of commuters are compared, difference tested according to residential zones and groups classified by different house acquisition types, and the activity participation level are evaluated for each group. The results show that the difference of time use characteristics is not obvious between two whole residential zones, however, when house acquisition type is distinguished the difference among groups appears significant.
