Abstract: ID3 algorithm was the core approach in Decision Tree algorithm. In this paper, basic ideas,
approaches and performance of ID3 algorithm were introduced and analyzed, and some deficiencies were
found. Then weight was introduced in the research in order to mi prove the algorithm. Results of the
expermi ents show that mi provement involvingweight factors are effective.
