教学设计
一、教学目标
1.能听懂、会说询问生日的功能句型“Whens your birthday”,并能介绍自己的生日日期“My birthday is …”
2.能听、说、认读月份单词January、February、March、April、August,并能在语境中正确使用;了解on、in等在表示日期时的不同用法,on+日期,in+月份等。
3.能正确模仿录音朗读课文。
1.教学重点:
When is your birthday?” “My birthday is ….”等进行口语交际。
2.教学难点:
三、教具准备
教学挂图、配套光盘、单词图片、单词卡、生日歌、生日礼物、日历等。
四、教学步骤
(一) Listen and say
1.导入
(1) 师生互致问候。
(2) 教师板书months,引导学生进行Brainstorming,复习学过的月份词汇September、October、November、December等。
(3) 教师介绍:“My birthday is in …Its on ….” “Whens your birthday?”导入新课学习。
2.学习对话1
(1) 观察主题图,预测对话内容。
教师提问:“What can you see in the picture? Who are they? What are they talking about?”引导学生观察后回答问题。birthday的话题,教师可以引导部分“Linglings birthday is on January 21s. Saras birthday is on March 12th. ”
(2)初听,理解对话,验证预测。
教师出示单词卡片,学习January、March。
“January is the first month of a year. It comes before ________.”引导学生回答。“March is the ________ month of a yearIt comes after February but before April.”教师示意学生补充,理解词汇,了解月份的前后顺序。然后练习读单词:January、February、March。
January 21st、March 12th。
“January 21st: Its the twenty first day of January.”
教师提问:“Whats the date before / after January 21st?”引导学生说一说前面和后面的日期,了解序数词的意思,练习序数词表达。
March 12th 方法相同。
教师出示句型板书,引导学生进一步了解对话。
“Whens Linglings birthday? Whens Saras birthday?”
“Linglings birthday is in January. Its on January 21st. Saras birthday is in March. Its on March 12th.”
教师板书功能句型答语,突出强调in和on并适当讲解。
“January 21st is my birthday. Whens your birthday?” “Its in March. Its on March 12th.”
教师布置pair work活动,学生分别扮演Lingling和Sara朗读对话。
(3) 对话操练。
师生分成不同的角色,示范朗读故事。
小组合作,朗读和表演课文。
(4) 运用和交流。
1月份日历,询问“Whose birthday is in JanuaryMarch / September / … / February?”学习February。
“When is your birthday?”,引导学生表达:“Its on …”,教师在日历上写下姓名。
3.学习对话2
(1) 教师出示课文主题图图二,引导学生观察、预测。
“Whens Yangyangs birthday?”
教师追问:“Why cant Yangyang have a birthday every year?”
引导学生讨论,扩充知识:“How many days are there in February / January …?”
引导学生总结出“There are thirty one days in January, March, May, July, August, October and December.”等知识。这里教师可
引导学生跟读课文。
