Ⅰ.Warm-up
1. Free talk
T: Hello, boys and girls. What time is it?
Ss: It’s 10:00.
T: It’s 10:00. It’s time for our class. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
2. Let’s do
T:Kids ,this time show me your hand , clap your hands and follow me, please. Let’s do.
Ss: Chant and do the actions.
T:Ok, boys and girls, let’s say and do the action:
kids, let’s run.(板书并领读:kids、let’s run.并让学生体会单词和短语的意思,教师引导学生自由发挥,目的就是让学生在快乐的体验学习中掌握这两个难点。)
[设计意图]:通过设计这两个活动,充分调动学生学习的积极性,并复习与本课相关的知识,为学生能够流畅的去说和读做好铺垫。
Ⅱ. Presentation
1、T: Just now, We had a good time. I will give you a riddle. Please listen carefully.
T: It has a big round face, two arms, one is long, and another one is short. The arms work hard every time. And it says: tick tock, tick tock. It always tell you time to get up every morning. What’s that? (教师在说的过程中运用肢体语言,降低谜语难度, 让学生通过描述和直观的表演找到答案)
Ss: It’s a Clock.
T: Is it your friend?
Ss: Yes.
T: Good. Now let’s play a game. Say out the time as quickly as you can. Tick tock, tick tock, what time is it?
S: It’s 7:00.
T: Great. What can you do at this time?
S: It’s time for breakfast.
T: It’s 7:00. It’s time for breakfast.
Ss: Read.
T: Who want to try?
(先找几位学生读句子,然后男生女生分别操练)。
T: Tick tock, tick tock, what time is it?
S: It’s 6:00.
T: At 6:00, Hui Tailang eats dinner. So we can say
S: It’s time for dinner.
T: It’s 6:00. It’s time for dinner.
(领读之后,教师问,每组分别回答)
2.在训练重点句型较熟练后,教师做个stop 的手势:just a minute , (板书并领读)。
T: Kids, the clock says , It’s time to play games. Do you want to play games with it?
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s play the game :tick tock , what time is it ? You must find your chair as quickly as you can.
游戏操作:教师把三把椅子背靠背放在一起,从四个小组中分别找一名同学带着他们组的头饰作抢椅子的游戏,老师拨动钟表指针,其他同学发开始指令:kids,kids , let’s run 和停止指令:just a minute .然后其他学生一起问没有抢到椅子的同学:tick tock , what time is it ? 学生根据钟表的实际时间回答。
[设计意图]:是把重点句型(what time is it ? It’s …, It’s time for ….)和难点:(kids、let
