Art is the subject ____________ I know little. 由 “ 介词 + 关系代词 ”引导的定语从句 prep +which/whom (介词在末尾时, 关系代词可以省略,介词在关系代词前不可以省略) (which/that) (which/that) about which Join the sentences with relative clauses: We could expect good decisions from you. We thought you were such a person. We thought you were a person (who/whom/that) we could expect good decisions from. We thought you were a person from whom we could expect good decisions. Join the sentences with attributive clauses: You were to buy dog food with the money. The money is gone. The money (which/that) you were to buy dog food with is gone. The money with which you were to buy dog food is gone. zxxk Conclusion: When the relative pronoun is the object of the preposition, we use preposition to begin an attributive clause, that is, preposition + which/whom. In this case, the relative pronoun, which or whom, cannot be replaced with “that” or “who”. Besides, the relative pronoun cannot be left out. Fill in the blanks with relative pronouns: 6.
