Teaching contents: Seven new words about clothes( skirt, shirt, T-shirt, dress, pants, shorts, shoes) Focuses: Pronunciations, spellings and meanings of the words. Difficult points: ① The plural forms of “pant, short, shoe” ②The usage of “with” in the sentence “I like the…with the…” Teaching procedures ： Step1: review Teacher’s activities: ① Did you remember the color words we have learnt last class? ② Show students the color pictures and ask them to answer “What colors are they?” Students’ activities: Look at the pictures and answer the question like this “They are…” Teaching thought: Review the color words which will be used in the following teaching. Step2: Presentation Teacher’s activities: ① Show students the pictures of the seven new words one by one and ask students “what’s this in Chinese?” Then teach students the new words. ② Show students the pictures of the seven words together and ask students to read after the teacher. ③ Explain why “pant, short and shoe” should use the plural forms. Students’ activities: Look at the pictures and repeat each word three times in chorus.
