Then read the new words and ask students to repeat. Make sure students know the meanings. Self-check This activity focuses on vocabulary introduced in the unit. Ask students to fill in the blanks on their own. Check the answers. Ask students to make their own sentences with the words, preferably sentences that are meaningful. Write a number of students’ answers for each word on the board and ask students to suggest how to correct the mistakes. Step 2: Pair work (1)This activity provides reading and writing practice using the target language. (Show a picture on the screen.) T: Look at the picture. Where are they?
