In the m ean tmi e, the data of geodetic m easurem ent, geo log ical invest igation and test are also analyzed, and the analytic results show that the loca l mo tion o f Fushun segm ent on H unhe fault is caused by coa l ex traction. F ina lly, the comprehensive study com es to the conclu sion that the m ain reason for cau sing destruction o f bu ildings in Fu shan is the inhom ogeneou s settlem ent of ground triggered by fault m ot ion, and the inhom ogeneous settlem ent of ground cau sed by fault m otion is d ifferent from the inhom ogeneou s settlem ent o f so ft ground.
