Abstract
Since the end of last century, Stefan Hilger, a scholar of Germany proposed a new
theory of time scales. The research on the time scale has attracted wide interest. In these
years, this theory has been developing rapidly. This theory can reveal the continuous
and discrete system in common, providing a new powerful theoretical tool for our study.
What is more, it can also enable us to understand clearly the essence of the continuous
and discrete system and other complex system. The main contents of this paper are as
below:
Firstly, the oscillation of the second order neutral dynamic equations is discussed. In
the process of study, the equation coefficients are divided into three types. We transform
the second order neutral dynamic equations into the first order dynamic equations by
Riccati transformation. And then through the properties of the first order dynamic
equations to study the oscillation of the second order neutral dynamic equations. We
get sufficient conditions for the oscillation of the second order neutral dynamic equation,
using the reduced-order method and the counter example. Lastly, examples are provided
to illustrate the application of the conclusion.
Secondly, the extremal solutions of the first order impulsive dynamic equations with
periodic boundary condition on time scales is studied. F
