M ethods T ot lly 176 p tients ( 105 m le nd 71 fem le) w ith DORV from J nu ry 1998 to J nu ry 20 10 were enrolled including 124 p - tients of sub ortic ventricul r sept l defect ( V SD) , 12 of subpulm on ryV SD, 32 of sub rteri lV SD nd 8 of non-sub rteri lV SD. Surgeries to est blish intr ventricul r tunnel or to enl rge right ven tricu l r ou tflow tr ct w ith utologous peric rd i l p tch w ere c rried out in 114 c ses, R stelli procedure in 2 1 c ses, bid irection l Glenn shunt in 18 c ses, Font n procedure in 11 c ses nd rteri l sw itch oper tion in 7 c ses w ere performed respectively. Results There w ere 18 p tients d ied during the hosp it liz tion. A fter disch rge, 116 p tients w ere followed up for 6 months to 8 ye rs w ith s tisf ctory results. Conclusion The n tom ic l p ttern of DORV is comp lex, therefore intr ventricu l r tunnel or utologous peric rdi l p tch should be smi ple to ensure the smooth outflow of left ventricle.
