Abs tract: Neural stem cells are a class of cellsw ith self replication and renewal caplbility, high proliferation
potential and multi differentiation potential. N eural stem cells therapy through exogenous and endogenous ap
proaches, provides a new way for the treatment of ischem ic stroke. The research advance in neural stem cells
and their application in treatment for ischem ic stroke are reviewed.
