Teacher shows two pictures,one is a new-born baby,the other is the shenzhou V.then ask “when were you born? what happened when you were born?””Do you know?” let students discuss,then answer “shenzhouV was sent into space when you were born. ” Step 2．Listen to the tape.(pay attention to the pronunciation) Play the tape,have students look and listen.In order to have them understand the text,teacher asks these following questions: When did Shenzhou V fly into space? How long did he spend when Yang Liwei flew into the space? How did Yang Liwei’s son feel about his father? After work in groups ,then let them answer. Step 3.Find and explain.
