Methods 16 specinenes of cervical carcinoma tiss es received chem otherapy embolism before hysterectomy w ere st d ied as test gro p, 14 specinenes of cervical carcinom a tiss eswh ich on ly had hysterectom yw ere st d ied as control gro ps. The express ion of AQP 1 on d ifferent tiss eswas detected sing RT - PCR and mi m nohistochem icalm ethod . Results AQP 1mRNA on both cervical carcinom a tiss es before and after interventional treatment all had expression. The expression level ofAQP1mRNA remarkab ly decreased in cervical carcinoma after interventional treatm en t ( P 0. 01 ) . The expression of AQP1 was on ep ithelial cells of capillary vessel of cervical carcinom a. Expression of AQP1 and m icrovasc lar density rem arkably decreased in cervical carcinom a after interven tional treatment ( P 0. 01 ) .
