The cont ents, accumulation and distribution of 5 nut rient elements ( N, P, K, Ca, Mg) w ere studied in 3 plots of Chi nese pine plantat ions in Qiaoshan forested region in haanxi Province.The results show ed that the nutrient content in various organs was in the order of needle branch root bark stem. In the 26year plantation, the storage of N, P, K, Ca and Mg w as 214.44, 22. 91, 158. 88, 167. 36 and 29. 42kg!hm- 2.T he total element accumulat ion w as 498. 98 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 kg!hm in the tree layer, 3. 32kg!hm in the shrub layer, 7. 31kg!hm in the herb layer and 83. 40kg!hm in dead soilcovering layer .The enrichment ratios of N, P, K, Ca and Mg in Chinese pine plantation were 3. 98, 4. 28, 569, 1. 08 and 4.01. The net production of organic matter per ton needs a total five elements of 8.43~ 9. 09kg!hm- 2 !yr- 1.The total nutrient elements accumulation in tree layer was 288. 26~ 606.07kg!hm- 2 , of which stem accounted for 14. 1~ 16. 8% .
