In the first art, the rudimentary know ledge on the urban geogra hical fractal theory ad- vanced mainly by the authors is given as an introduction to the next art, and a series of new thoughts, view oints, and conce ts, etc, is resented to im rove and consummate the revious theory, and in articular, the geogra hical meanings of the related fractal dimensions are made more clear than ever, and the relationshi s between the different fractional dimensions are sys- tematized.
