Five Reasons 1.Geographical environment The mountains, oceans and deserts block the invasion of foreign civilization For example, when we was in Shang Dynasty, Egypt was on its way to conquer the West Asia；when we was in Han Dynasty, The Roman Empire was springing up(崛起) rapidly like sun-rise. The word has fallen into the battle except China. 2.Civilization Since ancient times, civil war in China was frequent , but nobody wanted to destroy the ancient cultures or the Chinese characters. They only want to master the sovereignty(主权) of civilization. Therefore , the civilization have never been harmed basically. 3.The weight(体量) of civilization On the geographical side , Chinas Yellow River Basin(黄河流域) and the Yangtze River Basin(长江流域) are several times larger than other civilization. We have enough place to avoid the disaster from nature. Bsides , on the human side , the number of Chinese population has been such astonishing since ancient times.It is difficult for other civilizations to engulf us completely. 4.Mainstream thought As we all know,the mainstream in ancient China is comes from rationality of the Confucian(儒家) and legal system of the Legalists(法家).Those thoughts create a stable government after the civil war(内战). Therefore, the situation that religion had dominated the rule will never come true and the Religious extremism (宗教极端主义)will never happen either. 5.Imperial examination system(科举制) Imperial examination system is created in Sui Dynasty and developed in Tang Dynasty. It absorbs the essence(精华) of the Chinese civilization and make the cultural heritage would be endless,passed away by the dynasty of the literati. Thank you for listening!
