英语语法系列讲座（六）;二、虚拟语气在suggest等动词及其相应名词之后的that从句中的用法： 在suggest等表示建议、命令、要求、愿望等动词及其名词之后的that从句中，常用should + 动词原形表示虚拟语气，should可以省略；此处的that从句包括宾语从句，同位语从句，表语从句，主语从句等多种that从句。;这类动词及其名词常见的有：suggest (suggestion), advise (advice), insist (insistence), recommend (recommendation), order (order), propose (proposal), require (requirement), request (request), command (command), demand (demand), indicate (indication), prefer (preference), desire (desire), determine (determination), decide (decision),等。常见的这类动词有：allow, arrange, ask, beg, concede, demonstrate, ensure, intend, move等。 ;例句： Our English teacher required (v.) that everyone of us (should) take notes in class. （宾语从句） Our English teacher’s requirement (n.) is that everyone of us (should) take notes in class. （表语从句） It is our English teacher’s requirement (n.) that everyone of us (should) take notes in class. （同位语从句） It is required (v.) by our English teacher that everyone of us (should) take notes in class. （主语从句） ;三、虚拟语气在It is ＋形容词＋that的主语从句中的用法： 在某些表示愿望、建议、请求、命令等形容词后的主语从句中，需用虚拟语气。其表达形式为should ＋ 动词原形或省略should直接用动词原形。这类形容词有 advisable，anxious, appropriate（适当的），compulsory（必须的），crucial（紧急的），desirable（理想的），eager, essential（必要的）, fitting, imperative（迫切的），important，impossible, improper, incredible（惊人的），natural，necessary，obligatory (必须履行的), possible，preferable（更好的）,proper, probable（可能的），strange，urgent（紧迫的），vital（极为重要的）, willing等。 ;四、虚拟语气在in case （以防，以免）, lest（以防，以免，唯恐）, for feat that（以免，唯恐） 引起的从句中的用法：其形式多用should + 动词原形，should有时可以省略。 例句： Let me write down your telephone number lest (for fear that) I should forget it. She put a blanket over the baby (lest) for fear that he should catch cold. You’d better take your raincoat with you in case it should rain. *注意：在in case从句中，有时可以不用虚拟语气而用陈述语气，如： You’d better take your raincoat with you in case it rains.;五、虚拟语气在表示愿望的动词wish后的宾语从句中的用法（wish后的that 常省略）： 1. 表示当时未实现的愿望，从句用过去式（be动词用were）。例句： I wish (that) I knew both English and French.
