状语从句 状语从句分类： 时间：while,when,as,whenever,until,not...until, as soon as,the first time,after,before,since 地点：where，wherever 原因:because, as, since, now that, for 结果:so...that, such...that 目的:so that 条件:if,so/as long as,as/so far as,unless,in case 让步:although, though, whatever, whenever, whichever, however, no matter how, even though/if 比较:than, as...as 时间状语从句 1.when,as,while的区别 a)当从句表示一段时间时可通用 I met lily when/while/as I was walking along the street. b)as和when用于终止性动作；while只能用于延续性动作 It was snowing when I got to the airport. c)as强调主从句几乎同时发生的动作 He looked behind from time to time as he went.(一边...一边) d)when可表示主从句的动作同时或先后发生 When she reached home,she had a little rest. d)since“自从” I have been studying English since I was ten years old. g)the first time后接从句 I fell in love with her the first time I saw her. 比较状语从句 a)比较级+than He is teller than you. b)as+形/副原形+as“和...一样”；其否定形式为not so/so ...as He is as smart as you. He doesn’t run so/as far as Tom. 结果状语从句 a)so/such...that“如此...以至于” so+形容词/副词+that It is so beautiful that I can’t help staring at it. so+形容词/副词 a/an+单数可数名词+that He is so nice a man that I want to make friend with him. such+a/an...that He was such a handsome boy that I fell for him the first time I saw him. such+形/副+复数/不可数+that He told us such funny stories that we all laughed.
