However, its ecological envi- ronment deteriorates seriously and the lake is drying up. This paper carefully analyses the present ecological envi- ronment state of the lake and the problems it faces, such as the decrease in w ater volume, deposition of mud and sand, decrease of biological diversity and increase of pollution, and an ecological restoration plan and specific pro- tection measures are put forw ard.
