Mean- while, the corresponding harm brought by false advertisement has been an inevitable and severe problem as the result of some governmental issues such as incomplete and defective national legal and regulatory system. In accordance with the provisions of Article 222 of Criminal Law, the sub- ject of inveracious advertisement crime is only stipulated within advertiser, and advertising pub- lisher. In regard to another two critical issues, namely the undefined qualification of the subject of inveracious advertisement crime and narrow coverage of the subject of inveracious advertise- ment crime, it seems to be imperative for criminal legislation to add the subject of advertising spokesmen onto Article 222 of Criminal Law based on the other three original subjects and clarify these four subjects into any subject including natural person, legal person, and other organiza- tions in the juridical interpretation.
