PART ONE The Earthquake in Wenchuan Beijing at 14:28 on May 12, 2008, an serious earthquake of 8.0 occurred in Sichuan province . As at 10 oclock on May 25, 2009 ,the summary of casualties throughout the country as follows: Victims: 69227 persons Injuries: 374.64 thousand people Missing: 17939 persons A total of 68712 compatriots in Sichuan Province were killed， 17921 missing. including a total of 5335 students were killed or missing. May 12 earthquake in the general situation According to preliminary survey, the greatest intensity of the earthquake reached 11 degrees, the damage is particularly serious in areas more than 100,000 square km. The worst-hit areas are the Sichuan Province of Beichuan, Shifang, Mianzhu, Wenchuan, Pengzhou and other places involved in the disaster areas in Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Yunnan and other places.  PART TWO The rescue After the earthquake. Wen chuan and the other disaster areas adopted rescue and belief from society, army and individuals. We believe that we can overcame the earthquake because we are together. Our pilots Premier Wen went Wenchuan at the first time. When the earthquake happened ,all of our pilots began to dispose.
