Technology Diplomats’ Innovation Resources Matchmaking Action 2017 Invitation Letter Dear Mr./Ms., You are kindly invited to attend the second Technology Diplomats’ Innovation Resources Matchmaking Action. As a result of integration of world economy and closer international cooperation in science and technology, innovation resources such as talents, technology and capital are moved quickly across the world. Technology diplomats who have access to information about technology and economy of countries and regions and possess experience in ST exchange play an important role in international exchange and economic development. The purpose of the Technology Diplomats Service Action is to enhance technology diplomats’ role in enterprise innovation and local economy and technology development. The action which has already been rolled out across China provides a way for enterprises to enhance competiveness, innovate and upgrade cooperation with international ST resources. The second Technology Diplomats’ Innovation Resources Matchmaking Action, hosted by Beijing Technology Exchange Promotion Center, a department directly under Beijing Municipal Science Technology Commission, is to be held at Landmark Convention Centre on May 25, 2017 for echoing the call for “Technology Diplomats Service Action”, serving local science, technology and economy with international resources, enabling Beijing to “bring in” while “going out” and bring out the best in Beijing as the national STI center, and involve all the relevant parties in opening-up and innovation. At the Action held in 2016, information about ST development and preferential policies made available by ambassadors and counselor of S.T. of foreign embassies to China is very helpful for Chinese enterprises trying to “go out”.
