Unit 7 Seasons Welcome to the unit Teaching Aims:. To talk about favourite season learn the new words and phrases Step 1. Presentation comic strip 1. Enjoy a flash about seasons. T: Winter is coming. Eddie feels very cold. Now let’s read a conversation between Eddie and Hobo and then answer the questions: 1) Whats the weather like? 2) What does Eddie ask Hobo to do? 3) How does Eddie look in his coat? 3. Repeat after the tape recorder. 4. Read it in pairs and try to act it out. 5. Explain something: 1) sth(clothes) look ... on sb sb look ... in sth (clothes) bet... Step 2. Part A 1. Do Part A on page 81. 2. Check the answers. Step 3. Part B 1. Listen to part B and answer the following question. 1) Which season does Simon like best? 2) What’s the weather like in Autumn? 3) What can Amy do in summer? 2. Read after the recorder. 3. Pratice in pairs. 4. Act it out. Step 4 Extension activity 1. Enjoy a flash about the four seasons. 2. Talk about their favourite seasons, using Amy and Simon’s conversation as a model.
