高一英语上册必修(1) Unit 4 Earthquakes 集体备课教案 教材分析: 1,教材概述 本单元再现了1976年发生在我国唐山的大地震,涉及了有关地震的成因和预兆,地震时的应急救生和震后救援,地震造成的损失等方面的知识,使学生在了解相关知识的基础上,掌握防御和应对自然灾害的知识和方法。 2,教学目标 根据《新课程标准》关于总目标的具体描述,结合高一学生实际和教材内容,我们分语言知识,语言技能,学习策略,情感态度,文化意识五个方面制定相应教学目标: 语言知识: 双基词汇:学习掌握一些有关地震的词汇,如:earthquake, burst, ruin, injure, destroy, shock, rescue, trap, bury, as if, at an end, in ruins, dig out, a (great) number of 等。 语用功能:学习掌握一些用于讨论地震的结构句式,如: It seemed as if the world was at an end! The number of people who were killed or injured reached more than 400,000. Then, later that afternoon, another big quake which was almost as strong as the first one shook Tangshan. The army organized teams to dig out those who were trapped and to bury the dead. 表达感谢以及感觉的结构句式,如: I would like to express my thanks to …who… Here, I wish to express my thanks for the great efforts… No words are strong enough to express our… It was terrible when… I felt… 语法结构; 学习掌握由关系代词that, which, who, whose等引导的定语从句。如: A huge crack that was eight kilometers long and thirty meters wide cut across houses, roads and canals. Workers built shelters for survivors whose homes had been destroyed. 2) 语言技能: 听: 训练学生集中注意力, 抓住线索, 捕捉特定信息的能力, 并熟悉interview 这种形式. 说: 学生准备演讲稿, 培养在众人面前演讲的能力 读: 通过scanning, skimming, careful reading, generalization, inference等阅读微技能训练,获取关于地震的信息,处理信息, 运用信息进行推理,判断的能力. 写: 训练学生如何写新闻报道,学会拟定写作提纲我. 3)学习策略: 学生在一定程度上形成自主学习,进行有效交际, 信息处理, 养成英语思维习惯. 4)情感态度: 帮助学生认识到这个道理: 如果我们能了解并认识地震前的预兆,就能提前做好准备,让更多的人获得求生的机会,减少或避免不必要的损失. 5)文化意识: 了解与地震有关的知识,学习在地震发生时如何自救与救人.以及在不同的灾难中的正确应对措施. 3. 教学重点和难点 1)了解地震的有关知识,学习在地震或的灾难中如何自救,救人. 2)学习并初步掌握本单元”教学目的和要求”中的词汇,并掌握如何讨论过去的事情及表达谢意. 3)学习并初步掌握以that, which, who和whose引导的定语从句. 4)学习先拟定写作提纲再写新闻报道的方法. 二, 教材处理 根据学生学习英语的特点和规律,阶段学习的侧重点以及高一学生的实际, 我们把本单元划分为6课时: Period1:Reading (warming up, pre-readin
