M ethods: N ine ty es of sk in fla w ere selected to re air fingerti soft tissue defects in 265 atients, 282 fingers. Re sults: A ll fla s but three survived. A follow u ( 3 to 12months) w asmade in all atients, the fingerti s had satisfactory a earances and sensations, and the functions of fingerw ere excellent. Conclusion: The texture and arch itecture of hand fla s are smi ilar to fingers, w hich are the idealmaterial for reconstruction of finger ti soft tissue defects.
