D ep artm ent of Ph ilo sop hy, X iam en Univer sity, X iam en 361005, China =Ab stract The view point of th is paper is that there is inner correlation between the transform ation from specialm ed-i cine to generalm edicine in modern m edical model and the transform ation from m odern ity to post- modern ity in ph ilosophy. The specialm edicine isp roduced under the influence ofm odern ph ilosophy characterized by analysis and reduction, w hile the general m ed icine is produced under the influence of post- m odern ph ilosophy. The post- m odern philosoph ical thinking hasbecom e the m ainstay to influence them ed ical th inking. Itsdevelopment results in th ink ing from generalm ed icine. The features of th is th ink- ing are paying attention to living world, emphasizing inter- subjectivity, emphasizing the history of effect, preferring difference and combating scientific m eta- narration.
