School of Mat erial Science and Engineering, Southeast University, Nanjing 211189, China) Abstract: T he study of fatigue properties of concrete is very important for the design of con crete structures w hich w ithstand dynamic loads. T his paper presents the research situations of fatigue tests of concrete in the different loaded conditions and makes a summary and an a nalysis of the mechanical and deformation properties of the compression fatigue, curve fa tigue, tension fatigue and pullpress fatigue. In conclusion, it also points out the shortcom ings in the past researches and puts forw ard the authors view points about the impending problems w hich need solving urgently .
