Modal Verbs(情态动词) 概述 常见情态动词:can (could), may (might), must, have to(has to/ had to), shall (should), will (would), ought to,dare (dared), need (needed)等。could/might/should/would分别是can/may/shall/will的_________, 还可表示委婉的语气。 e.g.:I would like some tea. (这里不是过去式,而是委婉) He could be here soon. We cant carry the heavy box.  ’t have to go. 结构是_______+_______,否定一般在________后加not,而have(has/had) to则在前加_______ ______ _____,情态动词无的变化;不能使用,必须与构成谓语 can/could:①表“能力”;②疑问句和否定句中表“怀疑,猜测”或“可能性(理论上may互换 e.g.: I can speak English. ________ Can I come in? _____ Can it be true? ____ The moon can not always be at the full. ______ ⑴-Can you play with a yo-yo? -Yes, I ___.It’s easy.
