T: Nice to meet you.
Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
Step2 Presentation
1. Show Ss a clock and ask them how do you greet with your partners at this time of day.
2. Write some greetings:
Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening.
3. Let Ss open books and turn to Page7, read aloud what the Ss say
4. Show Ss a picture and tell them I have two friends. Point to Hobbo: It’s a e-dog. And point to Eddie : It’s the real dog.
Step3 Practice
Listen to the tape and answer some questions:
(1) Does Hobbo like this e-dog? How do you know?
(2) What is it? (It’s a dog)
(3) Who is the master?
2. Tell Ss today we are going to meet some friends at Beijing Sunshine Secondary school
