It plays a more and more important role in our daily lives and brings a lot of advantages and disadvantages. Millions of people search for information, learn knowledge, do business, make friends and chat online. The Internet does help a lot in many aspects. However, there are many problems as well. For example, some students keep surfing on the Internet till midnight, leaving little time for study. Besides, there is much harmful information on it. After all, every coin has two sides. As for the Internet, parents ought to limit the online time of children; teacher should tell students how to make use of the Internet resources correctly. 2. Need Pressure or Not With the fast pace of modern life, more and more people are living under great pressure. Is pressure a good thing or a bad thing? Some people dislike pressure. They think the stress of work deprives them of joy and happiness. But others argue that stress isn’t as bad as it often is supposed to be. A certain amount of stress is important for people to find motivation. Without stress, you may dream away your time. It gives purpose and meaning to your life. In my opinion, we shouldn’t escape from stress but to face it bravely. If we hold an optimistic attitude, proper pressure can make our lives much better. 3 Marks or Ability Some students attach great importance to marks. One reason for that comes from the tradition of society. High marks mean honor. The other reason can be found in our educational system. It is marks that decide a student’s fate. In their point of view, marks are the most important thing. They seldom take part in other activities, because they are afraid that those activities will affect their studies. Other students pay more attention to their ability. They think students should learn knowledge not only from books but from society. In my opinion, we must study har
