论动态图形（Motion Graphic）设计中图形符号的语义表达摘 要近年来，Motion graphic 被广泛的应用于网络电视、移动多媒体等新媒体平台，它的简洁、符号性强的特征使其快速受到大众的关注，但一直没有确切的定义。文中叙述的 Motion Graphic 即动态图形设计,是采用了直译的方式, Graphic 的源头是来自于平面的海报设计中的图形; Motion 最初直译为“动态”是因为动态图形设计的重中之中是动态。动态图形设计是一种网络与动画技术集合而产生的新动画形式，与其说是一种动画，它反而更近似一种集合动画技术与平面图形设计的综合艺术。本文从动态图形的历史演变中的艺术探索以及现今的发展状况分析入手。以视觉特征和呈现方法对动态图形的视觉语言进行解读；试图以符号学的部分知识为基础,研究和探讨动态图形设计的特点、深层次的符号语义表达及其未来的发展趋势。对动态图形设计的深入理解应该从符号化的图形结合动画动态效果开始，使一些晦涩难懂的信息很快能够得到观众的解读。对动态图形的研究和解读不但是对人类视觉符号语言的更深层次的探索，也是对动画、技术与图形设计这三者结合寻找更好的设计方法的过程。希望能够使更多的人能以一种新的视角去认识它，也期望会有更多的理论学者关注到它。关键词：动态图形，符号语义，视觉信息，共识性，意识构建3SEMANTIC EXPRESSION OF THE GRAPHIC SYMBOL IN MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGNABSTRACTIn recent years, motion graphic has been widely used in new-media platforms such as network television and mobile multimedia, etc. It has attracted the attention of the public rapidly for its conciseness and strong symbolic nature, but there is not precise definition until now. The author adopts literal translation for the phrase “motion graphic design” described in the paper. In fact, the source of “Graphic” is the patterning from graphic poster design. The reason why “Motion” is translated as “dynamic”is that the core of motion graphic design is just the motion. Motion graphic design is a kind of new animation form which integrates the network with the animation technology. Instead of saying that it is a kind of animation, it is more similar to a kind of synthetic art that integrates the animation technology with the plane graphic design.Starting from the art exploration in the historical evolution of motion graphics4and the analysis on the current status of development, the author tries to understand the visual languages of motion graphics from the perspectives of visual characteristics and presentation ways. Besides, with some knowledge of semiotics as the basis, the author attempts to research and discuss the characteristics, deep-seated symbol semantic expression and the future development trendof the motion graphic design.
