The Group has been very active in the Chinese financial and social security sectors and supported projects related to the development of a national pension scheme in China. Currently, the Group is planning to set up a joint venture life insurance company in China in the near future. Consequently, AEGON has asked PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to make in-depth analysis and evaluation of a shortlist of potential joint venture partners in China.
