“Combination of education with sport” from the perspective of
education process fairness

Abstract: By reviewing the course of development from the “combination of sport with education” to the “combi-
nation of education with sport”, the author drew the following conclusions from the perspective of education proc-
ess fairness: education must regain its principal status in the “combination of education with sport”; the ultimate
purpose of the “combination of education with sport” is to cultivate people; in the “combination of education with
sport”, all students, including athletic students, should be taken care of. The author put forward the following sug-
gestions: weaken the gold medal awareness; clarify school responsibility; establish policy guidance; ensure educa-
tion process fairness; allocate sports resources rationally.
