This paper takes the minority nationality of Dongshan Yao nationality in Quanzhou county of Guilin city of Guangxi province as the research object. Through questionnaire survey and in-depth interview, this paper focuses on the related problems of Dongshan Yao Township in the process of cultural inheritance and protection, and tries to learn from the advantages of social work Theoretical perspective based on Yao culture, mining and mobilize the advantages of land, to promote community development to explore the national social work in the local localization of the feasibility and necessity.
