He is also member of the Porcelain Art Committee of Chinese Artists Association, deputy chief editor of “Chinese Pottery Artist” magazine. He has held 7 large-scale exhibitions for his private works and has participated more than 100 important exhibitions at home and abroad. He was jointly awarded by China Ceramic Industrial Association (CCIA) and Ceramic Arts Council of the Chinese Artists Association in 2004 for his “Contribution in Promoting Chinese Contemporary Ceramic Art”. Among China’s infl uential writings on contemporary ceramics, two-thirds are written by Bai Ming. When talking about Bai Ming, people often summarize in one sentence: China’s youngest pottery master.
