The system uses the output voltage and current from generator and the charging current as feedback variable. The 80c196 single-chip computer adjusts the output of PWM(pulse width modulation) to control the field current of the generator, which accomplishes stabilizing, output voltage, output current and the charging current. It was proved in practice that the system has many advantages, such as high control accuracy, stable running status, good insulating effect and convenience for installing and maintaining.
