兒童英語教學 2學分/2鐘點(選修) 此選修課程主要教學的目標為： （1） 瞭解兒童英語教師應具備之資格、學校或業界聘請英語教師之標準及流程。 （2） 調查兒童英語學習困境並探討改進之法。 （3） 運用多元教學法設計教學活動。 （4） 培養學生教學上之多元創造力（例如：英文繪本創意教學、嘻哈與歌謠之結合教學等）。 （5） 班級管理技巧之訓練與運用。 （6） 協助學生培養英語教學之專業能力，以利未來職場發展。 Teaching English to Children 2 credits/2 hours (Elective) This elective course has six objectives: (1) to examine the qualifications and certifications for English teaching positions and the standards and procedures of English teacher recruitment and placement, (2) to investigate children English learning problems and discuss solutions, (3) to provide students with opportunities to design various activities based on different teaching methods and principles, (4) to cultivate students?creative abilities related to teaching (for example, designing and using creative picture books or combining English rapping and chants with hip hop dance), (5) to introduce how to apply management skills in the English classroom, (6) to help students to be well prepared for future teaching career needs. 英語教學觀摩與實習 　　　　　2學分/2鐘點(選修) 　　　 本課程主旨在於培育兒童英語師資(主要為幼教與補教業界)。為了鼓勵對英語教學有興趣之學生，提昇其英語教學專業能力，故規劃此課程與相關業界建教合作，提供學生實習與學以致用的教育訓練機會。學生之所學於畢業後能與職場之需求接軌。其課程內容包含學校參訪、教學觀摩與實習，並製作英語觀摩與實習之學生實習手冊，以利學生實習成效。 English Teaching Practicum 　2 credits/2hours (Elective) 　 This course is designed as a training program for a career in English language teaching. In order to help the students be well prepared for future professional development, this course provides the students opportunities to work collaboratively with teachers at cooperating local schools, such as kindergartens, elementary schools, and private language schools.
