Abstract: Based on the practices of bamboo forest road construction in Fuyang City for more than seven years, the
cost and benefits of the construction were evaluated, as well as the problems existed in the construction were analyzed.
On the basis of evaluation and analysis, policy recommendations were proposed for accelerating the construction of
bamboo forest roads, including increasing government supports, establishing long-term management mechanism,
deepening the forest tenure reform, and strengthening the coordination and cooperation of multi-department.
