Therefore, it is important to detect the amount of coumarins in medicinal plants. Herein, the progress on analytical methods for cou- marins in medicinal plants was summarized and reviewed. The advantages and disadvantages of various analytical methods were discussed and the further research orientations were also pros- pected in this paper.
