Pre-reading activities: (tape script) People judge other people within the first seven seconds of meeting them. You can have a positive effect on other people through using your eyes, face, and body in unspoken communication. What you say needs to match what you do. When you enter a room full of people, you can look at them and smile. You have the power to have a good effect on others because you are the only one who can be you. The key is to be your best by being relaxed and thinking of others instead of yourself. Step II.
