People thought they were dangerous. There used to be lots of old city walls in Beijing(before the 1950s). Most old city walls were pulled down in the 1960s. Today ,more modern building and roads appear. We are trying our best to protect and rebuild the old city walls .We like old things because they make the city more beautiful.
