Task Presentation Task of Module 2: The International Teachers’ Association is doing a survey “What makes a good teacher”. Please write an article, setting your criteria for a good teacher. Task of Period 1: Introduce some of your teachers who you think are good teachers, especially their personality traits. Introduction Brainstorming Let’s think of as many adjectives as possible to describe people: A - active, amusing, acute, adaptable, attractive … B - beautiful, bad-tempered, brave, boring … C - careful, careless, capable, charming, childish … … Activity 1 2, P11 Read through the words in the box of Activity 1 and make sure you understand them. Check if they are contained in the list of adjectives you made in the brainstorming activity. If not, please add them to your list. Sorting Can you sort these adjectives into positive ones and negative ones? Some words will have a positive and a negative meaning, depending on the context. Describing Could you use some adjectives to describe your teachers? Activity 3 4, P11 Look at these statements and tick the ones that you agree with individually, and then discuss with your partner.
